_a e i o u, Regular in use

_a e i o u blends blackletter forms with a loose, pen-drawn rhythm. Pointed joins, curling strokes and uneven letter widths give it a handwritten character rather than the rigid texture of a formal gothic face. The long strokes and decorative capitals work well in a short title, a themed invitation or a label with generous space.

Use a plain companion font for dates, instructions and longer passages. Test mixed-case words at their final size: the narrow joins and closely spaced dark strokes become harder to separate when the lettering is reduced.
