Fugue, Regular

Fugue, Regular in use

Fugue Regular combines angular blackletter influence with unusually simplified, cut shapes. The heavy strokes and abrupt turns give even a short word a dense decorative texture, while the numerals follow the same sculpted treatment. It suits a compact title or an emblem-like piece of lettering better than a paragraph. Test combinations with repeated uprights before adjusting spacing: nearby letters can merge into a pattern. Give supporting information a quieter typeface so that the unusual forms remain a deliberate focal point.
